Job description

A fast-growing company that is rapidly bridging the traditional gaps between technology and business, is looking for a Back-end Engineer. The candidate will be collaborating with the front-end team to design and implement APIs while also building solutions from scratch. The company aims to bring together innovative business strategy expertise, industry vertical know-hows and software development capabilities to help businesses identify opportunities for product development, management and communications. They also provide end-to-end support to businesses to help bring their products to the market faster, better and cheaper. Job Responsibilities:

  • Build a strong understanding of product requirements
  • Develop different solutions from scratch and work on existing applications
  • Work closely with front-end specialists for designing and deploying APIs
  • Provide guidance to the team for adopting intelligent technical tradeoffs
  • Work on developing efficient and reusable back-end systems along with abstractions
  • Identify and fix performance-related issues
  • Contribute to designing ideas and code reviews
  • Work on deployment and monitoring of different live services

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience working as a back-end engineer
  • Solid knowledge of back-end technologies like Node.js, Python, PHP, Java, Ruby, and others
  • Experience with building APIs
  • Ability to work using code versioning tools like Git
  • Must possess basic knowledge of front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Should have experience in tasks like database administration, scripting, data migration & backup, and authorization
  • High-efficiency level in algorithms, data structures, time & space complexity, distributed systems, etc.
  • Must possess an analytical mindset and strong interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English is a must
