Job description

A US-based tech startup that offers enterprise software, Saas, and infrastructural solutions, is looking for a Backend Engineer. The developer will collaborate with industry veterans from top companies like Airbnb, Amazon, Expedia, Goldman Sachs, Google, IBM, SAP, Twitter, etc. As a core member of a fast-growing team, the engineer will be responsible for designing, delivering, and maintaining new features. The engineer will also be working on fixing and debugging existing features. Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms is required for this position. The company is backed by leading Silicon Valley investors and has raised a fund of over $7mn so far. This is a great opportunity for the candidates to work with a rapidly growing startup.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work on design, and delivery of features.
  • Fixing/debugging bugs in issue the features that have been built.
  • Involved in daily standups, and Sprint Planning
  • Optimize the platform for faster execution and solve scalability issues
  • Implement security & data protection practices

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • 2-3 years of work experience in Java, Spring-Boot framework
  • Fluency in backend technologies like Node.js, Python, PHP, Java, Ruby, etc.
  • Good knowledge of computer science fundamentals
  • Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
