Job description

A revolutionary FinTech company that provides strategic insights with its one-of-a-kind Intelligence Data Bank, is looking for a Back-end Developer. The developer will be working extensively on the existing software and designing innovative products to scale and meet the product goals. The company gathers data from all the crucial private and public sources, tracking 17 million companies to provide customers with strategic insights about companies, apps, websites, market, and talents. The firm is the largest provider of alternative data, supporting investment funds and innovative corporations around the world. This is an exciting opportunity for developers to work on a revolutionary product and rise quickly through the ranks.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Undertake tasks for integrating front-end elements with server-side logic and functionalities
  • Assist product & engineering teams with multiple requirements
  • Work on optimizing platforms for fast and efficient execution and resolve scalability problems 
  • Implement security & data protection practices
  • Develop ideas, design and build APIs, data storage solutions and other engineering projects

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 2+ years of relevant software engineering experience 
  • Proficient with technologies like Python, Django, Celery, and JavaScript
  • Experience with React.js, Linux, and SQL would be a plus
  • Experience with infrastructure architecture, DevOps, and building distributed systems
  • Working knowledge of SQL and web scraping is desirable
  • Must be able to work with an analytical mindset 
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and fluency in English
