Job description

A fast-growing premier healthcare technology company is looking to hire a Backend Developer. The engineer will be responsible for building new external and internal capabilities. The selected candidate will join the team and contribute to building a Series B-funded digital healthcare startup. The position presents a great opportunity for those who want to grow rapidly while working in a Silicon Valley-based tech company with a diverse team of experienced professionals from the healthcare, technology, and security industries.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the team with building new external and internal capabilities
  • Participate in the application lifecycle with a focus on improving the technical architecture
  • Develop smooth and efficient code to make effective web applications
  • Troubleshoot errors and bugs in the applications and ensure scalability
  • Collect and rectify design, development, and technical issues
  • Developing reusable libraries and code for future use

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • Prior experience in a relevant field, preferably as a full-stack backend-heavy developer
  • Must have experience in PHP, Golang, and SQL
  • Experience in creating Docker containers, Kubernetes, and gRPC services is nice to have 
  • Passionate about disrupting healthcare and proven to take on a vast range of product marketing/strategy responsibilities
  • In-depth knowledge of the entire development process (design, development, and deployment)
  • Excellent management, teamwork, and analytical skills
