Job description

A travel software company that develops cloud-based hospitality tools, is looking for a Backend Developer. The developer will be responsible for architecting and developing the backend web applications. The platform is relied on by thousands of hotels, hostels, inns, etc., across hundreds of countries and has raised up to $98.4 mn in funding so far. The company is expanding rapidly and currently has over 400 people with local teams in 40 countries. The role is well suited for those who would like to reinvent the world of hospitality tech and travel.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Research, design and build highly reliable, efficient, and scalable platforms
  • Write clean, secure, maintainable, testable, and modular codes 
  • Contribute to providing a delightful experience to users by adding new features and scaling the existing services
  • Own and drive improvements to the products and infrastructure
  • Fix bugs and maintain the tech stack as problems arise 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • Must be experienced in Java, Spring Boot, and PHP
  • Nice to have prior knowledge of Kafka
  • Must be capable of communicating fluently in English
  • Must be a team player and have great interpersonal skills
