Job description

An NYSE-listed company that helps businesses develop data-driven strategies by bridging the gap through AI-enabled transformation is looking for a Back-End Staff Software Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for brainstorming and bringing up new ideas to the table that ensure the efficiency of the back-end. The Silicon Valley-based company helps innovative organizations across all industries to tackle revolutionary use cases and exact real-time insights. They have managed to raise around $1bn in funding so far. This role requires some overlap with the PST/IST time zones. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Create data infrastructure software that is both dependable and scalable.
  • For your projects, design and develop services and system architecture
  • Contribute to the team and share input with others
  • Improve code quality by writing unit tests, automating processes, and conducting code reviews
  • Contribute ideas to the technology, algorithms, and products through brainstorming
  • Collaborate with product, design, and customer success teams to understand end-user needs, develop use cases, and transform them into practical technical solutions
  • Dive deep into complex technical problems and provide outcomes on time

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 7+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Extensive experience designing and developing back-end systems at scale
  • Ability to focus on performance at scale
  • Experience with Node.js, Python, and Java 
  • Experience working with and hosting service providers like Amazon Web Services, Google Computer Platform, Microsoft Azure, and Kubernetes
  • Fluent in spoken and written English communication
