Job description

A fast-paced company promoting belonging by operating and nurturing specialized online communities is looking for a Back-End Software Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating scalable integration solutions by analyzing project needs and making recommendations. The company offers its clients growth tools, staff to scale their content production, paid acquisition skills, and proven community growth frameworks. This will be a long-term, full-time role that requires some overlap with the U.S., European, and Indian time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze project requirements and make recommendations to create scalable integration solutions
  • Transfer acquired businesses to the authorized technology stack
  • Contribute to the engineering organization's broad efforts to create best practices and optimize business onboarding procedures
  • Collaborate with business managers to improve operations by using the existing technology stack and developing procedures for enhanced capabilities

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Extensive knowledge in documenting technical designs and scoping out producible solutions
  • Experience with large-scale, high-performance systems
  • Knowledge of Python and Django
  • Knowledge of working in a high-growth startup environment
  • Expertise in designing, building, testing, and operating services, APIs, and databases
  • Familiarity with JavaScript is a plus
  • Proficiency in English
