Job description

An NYSE-listed company that provides and operates battery storage technologies that optimize renewable energy generation is looking for a Back-End Software Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for contributing to a better developer experience to increase productivity and product quality. The company has so far raised close to $600 mn in funding with a vast clientele including Fortune 500 corporations, project developers, utilities, and independent power producers. Candidates with solid expertise in software development and an interest in developing cloud-based products are suitable for this position.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and deploy cloud-based solutions on AWS using Kubernetes and other cutting-edge technology platforms
  • Create microservices in Python or Java, interacting with third-party APIs and utilizing AWS cloud services
  • Contribute to an improved developer experience that boosts productivity and product quality
  • Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic and functionalities

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Knowledge of AWS Cloud and microservices
  • Familiarity with modern deployment stacks like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of programming languages, including Python and Java
  • Knowledge of machine learning platforms
  • Proficiency in English
