Job description

A U.S.-based educational institution that is determined to reform students and equip them with a well-rounded education to enable them to achieve their goals, is looking for a Back-End Node.js Engineer. The engineer should have prior experience building an app from scratch and will be taking ownership of the entire software development process. In order to more effectively develop ideas that transform the world, the company is nurturing a wide spectrum of perspectives from peers, students, and communities. This is an amazing opportunity for engineers who are eager to tackle complicated requirements while meeting the organization’s needs. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and help them to build a basic mobile application
  • Participate in code reviews and modifying on a regular basis to enhance app performance
  • Use software development best practices to create code that is well-designed, testable, and effective
  • Take part in user feedback sessions to discover and comprehend user needs

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Prolific experience working with Node.js
  • Great time and project management skills
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
