Job description

A US-based B2B sales intelligence and engagement platform that is transforming the way businesses achieve their sales numbers is looking for a Back-End/Machine Learning Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising, revising, and evolving the current software architecture. The company's advanced technology enables businesses to find and engage with future customers at the appropriate time with the appropriate message. They have managed to secure $150mn+ during their Series C round of funding. This will be a long-term, full-time position that requires some overlap with the PST time zone. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop back-end infrastructure, data pipelines, and machine learning models for AI-backed products
  • Build working ranking models and work on automating modeling pipelines
  • Work closely with product and engineering professionals, including front-end engineers
  • Assist in designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving machine learning software
  • Test, define, and deploy best ML algorithms using text and unstructured data
  • Stay updated about the developments in the Natural Language Processing field
  • Create and maintain core ML and back-end codebase
  • Implement the latest security and data protection protocols
  • Help to experiment, design, and build APIs, data storage solutions, and other engineering projects

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of experience working as a Back-end/Machine Learning Engineer
  • Should possess extensive professional experience of working with Python 
  • Thorough understanding of Machine Learning, including NLP ASR and Airflow
  • Must possess a familiarity of building services based on NLP
  • Should have extensive knowledge of API development and maintenance
  • Prior experience in senior developer positions owning projects is essential
  • Should possess a firm grasp over Data Pipelines
