Job description

A NASDAQ-listed company that has carved its spot in the international food and beverages industry with their well-loved products, is looking for a Back-End Java Developer. The developer will be working with the existing team to build a high-impact tool that will greatly impact the management’s ability to monitor insights. The company is successfully catering to the needs of a global customer base by providing a wide range of beloved products. This is an amazing opportunity for developers who are eager to work on impactful solutions while contributing to major architectural decisions. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work on improving and developing new features to existing designs and schemas
  • Develop the first version of MVP, for an externally linked ML/AI insight tool for senior management
  • Create the new platform that will be progressively fed by information now kept in Snowflake but later be moved to Azure Databricks 
  • Design and develop software solutions in collaboration with the development team

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Prolific experience working with Java, SpringBoot, and API Integration
  • Solid understanding of Cloud providers like Azure, AWS, and GCP
  • In-depth knowledge of SQL and MVP development flow
  • Excellent written and conversational English skills
