Job description

A fast-growing company that has created an online issuance and management platform to provide automation and standardization options is looking for a Back-End Golang Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating modules based on user stories in conjunction with the software architect. The company’s platform includes contractual activities, integration of third-party data audibility by counterparties, audit features, and documentation standards. The company has managed to raise close to $250k in funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop modules in collaboration with the software architect based on user stories, wireframes, and Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
  • Lead and contribute to cross-functional initiatives to provide high-quality results
  • Proactively own features or systems and set long-term goals and objectives for them
  • Upgrade, test, and deploy software with the most up-to-date features

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 10+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • 5+ years of experience in microservices architecture/writing automated tests
  • Knowledge of Golang
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL and SQL
  • Experience with Restful APIs
  • Expertise in Git and Gitlab
  • Knowledge of Docker and Linux (Ubuntu preferred)
  • Familiarity with the fundamentals of cyber security is a plus
  • Knowledge of Java is nice to have
  • Familiarity with C# and C++ is desirable
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Previous experience working remotely
