Job description

A NASDAQ-listed company that has managed to develop a revolutionary online platform that enables users to purchase and sell cryptocurrencies more easily, is looking for a Back-End Golang Developer. The developer will be working with cross-functional teams while helping them to compose a service-oriented architecture. The company's comprehensive platform enables businesses, retailers, consumers, and dealers to conduct digital currency transactions. The company has managed to successfully secure $496mn+ in funding so far. This position requires 6-8+ hours of overlap with the PST time zone and can lead to long-term opportunities.

Job Responsibilities:

Design, build, scale, and maintain production services
Write maintainable, aesthetically pleasing, high-performing code
Create software and provide support for it, including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality
Make sure the project complies with all business objectives and legal requirements

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
5+ years of experience working with Golang
Some experience working with AWS, Ruby, and Ruby on Rails is desirable
Nice to have some familiarity working in the FinTech industry or with security, banking, payments, etc.
Great English communication skills, both written and spoken
