Job description

A U.S.-based company that is helping creators to easily grow, manage, and reward their fan communities is looking for a Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for creating code that is highly scalable and efficient while meeting business requirements. The company’s social platform connects content creators with their top fans and enables them to communicate with each other. The company has managed to secure $20mn+ during their Series A round of funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality, scalable solutions from scratch and work on revamping existing applications
  • Analyze website performance and take decisions to make software improvements
  • Identify and mitigate performance-related bottlenecks 
  • Write and maintain robust codes and participate in daily virtual standups 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Extensive experience with Node.js and GCP
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
