Job description

A fast-growing AI company delivering easy-to-implement products and technology to tackle various problems and generate ROI is looking for a Back-End Engineer. The engineer will work closely with the development team, taking charge of the overall development and implementation of full-stack software applications. The company focuses on providing businesses with practical and scalable solutions for warehouse operations and intelligent fleet management. The company has raised more than $12 mn in funding so far. Candidates with advanced programming skills capable of creating and implementing advanced software systems that meet the needs of the company are well-suited for this position.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Meeting with the software development team to define the scope and scale of software projects
  • Designing software system architecture and writing technical documents
  • Completing data structures and design patterns
  • Designing and implementing scalable web services, applications, and APIs
  • Developing and maintaining internal software tools
  • Writing low-level and high-level code, troubleshooting, and bug fixing.
  • Identifying bottlenecks and improving the software efficiency
  • Collaborating with the design team on developing micro-services

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Advanced knowledge of front-end languages, including HTML5, CSS, Typescript, React, and Redux
  • Proficient in back-end languages including Golang, Python, and C++
  • Knowledge of database systems and SQL.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills and familiarity with JavaScript frameworks
  • Good English communication skills
  • High-level project management skills
  • Previous experience as a full-stack engineer
