Job description

A U.S.-based company building a mobile commerce platform that makes it easier to sell heavy equipment is looking for a Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of building secure, scalable back-end systems in an efficient manner. The company's advanced tool for dealers and other relationship-based sellers helps customers to streamline the closing process. The company has managed to raise $500K+ during their Seed round of funding. This position requires some overlap with the South American time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Read, write, and review complex code documents for product features and architecture modifications
  • Work with the team to perform architectural simplifications and debt reduction
  • Collaborate directly with the front-end to design and drive product direction
  • Work with a wide range of systems and technologies and solve problems competitively 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Extensive experience in Node.js and React
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
