Job description

One of the world's leading pharmaceutical giants is looking for a Back-End Engineer. The engineer will utilize solid back-end development expertise with object-oriented coding skills to design cloud-based apps and write scalable applications. Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in integrating front-end elements with server-side logic and features 
  • Work closely with product and engineering teams, including front-end engineers
  • Optimize built solutions for faster execution and fix scalability blockers
  • Deploy necessary security and data protection practices to maintain quality
  • Help to experiment, design, and build APIs, data storage solutions, and other engineering projects

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer 
  • Experience in working with Python and cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Ability to work with containerization like Docker and Kubernetes is preferred
  • Must have excellent problem-solving skills and work with an analytical mindset
  • Must possess an excellent understanding of back-end development with object-oriented coding skills
  • Must be able to think through complex problems and ask questions
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Should have a clear idea about algorithms and the ability to breakdown large/complex problems
