Job description

A U.S.-based company harnessing the power of modern technology to build a comprehensive messaging application that will initiate conversations between customers and businesses is looking for a Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of the spec, design, and development of the core product functionality. By facilitating conversations between businesses and customers, the company is improving customer engagement. The company has managed to successfully raise close to $500mn in funding so far. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct code reviews and offer teammates technical advice
  • Investigate problems and determine their underlying causes
  • Ensure the team is adhering to industry standards 
  • Examine the back-end services on different browsers and devices

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Demonstrable experience working with Java, Node.js, and DevOps
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
