Job description

A leading, well-established healthcare distribution enterprise revolutionizing the pharmaceutical industry with modern solutions is looking for a Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for developing high-performance, low-latency applications using Golang. The company aims to become Asia’s leading pharmaceutical giant by going the extra mile to provide customers with quality and effective products. This role requires up to 8 hours of overlap with Singapore time.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Take the initiative to continuously improve the quality of the product and services
  • For product features and modifications, read, write, and review the design architecture 
  • Work directly with front-end developers and designers to actively drive the product direction
  • Work with a wide range of systems and technologies and solve problems iteratively

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant back-end engineering experience
  • At least 3+ yrs of Golang development experience overall 5+ years
  • Demonstrable experience in API development using Gin and Gorm
  • Prolific experience in unit testing using stretchr or testing packing
  • Prior experience in microservices architecture
  • Extensive experience in PostgreSQL
  • Experience in EIP or Integration Patterns using Apache Kafka, ActiveMQ, Azure Service Bus, etc
  • Nice to have experience in developing GraphQL Server using gqlgem
  • Experience on container optimized image development is preferred 
  • Experience in using Azure developer tools & services is a plus
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
