Job description

A US-based company that is determined to provide users with cost-effective instant delivery services is looking for a Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be contributing to the product development and developing the back-end architecture. To help DTC-focused brands succeed, the company is consolidating developments in e-commerce logistics, marketing, and technology. It has managed to secure more than $20mn during their Series A round of funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in daily virtual standups and on-call rotations 
  • Work within the team to ship deliverables timely and meet deadlines
  • Boost the performance and responsiveness of the web applications 
  • Build and deliver testable solutions to develop software processes

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Extensive experience in Python/Django
  • Automate code by performing unit and integration testing
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership
  • Comprehensive knowledge and practice in the project architecture
  • Ability to help other team members
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
