Job description

A rapidly-growing US-based company making it easier for users to travel between inter-cities is looking for a Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for the platform’s infrastructure and overall performance. The company is putting riders and drivers that are headed to the same city in touch with each other. This is an exciting opportunity for developers to prove their mettle and work with a team of innovative industry professionals. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop the web infrastructure and overall software performance
  • Make decisions about the technologies to use in the stack 
  • Add implementation and technical business logic to the product
  • Participate in the team’s on-call rotation and brainstorming sessions 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer 
  • Extensive experience in Node.js, Python, Flask, and JavaScript
  • Nice to have experience in AWS, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, and SQL
  • Demonstrable expertise with back-end development
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
