Job description

A US-based healthcare company delivering integrated primary and preventive care to patients with chronic conditions is looking for a Back-End Engineer. The selected candidate will collaborate with the product and engineering professionals to fulfill product requirements and develop innovative solutions. The company’s medicine suppliers and medical assistants work in unison with patients to avoid hospitalization and re-admissions. Candidates who would like to join an early-stage healthtech company and grow their careers are suitable for this role.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the team to write automation tests, understand requirements, build solutions, deliver functionality, and build continuous delivery pipelines
  • Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic and functionalities
  • Effectively collaborate with product teams and engineering professionals to meet product requirements and build innovative solutions
  • Use a holistic, test-oriented approach to troubleshoot and upgrade the application

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant back-end engineering experience 
  • 4+ years of experience with PHP, C++, PostgreSQL, Java, and GraphQL
  • 2+ years of experience with Go/Golang
  • Knowledge of DynamoDB and Grafana is nice to have
  • Familiarity with Serverless and AWS Lambda is a plus
  • Proficiency in English
