Job description

An emerging company that aids retailers in increasing lifetime value, brand affinity, and data fidelity through a bot-identifying platform is looking for a Back-End Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for writing real-time data processing and computation APIs with AWS, as well as making extensive use of Machine Learning algorithms for various e-commerce platforms. The platform evaluates purchases in real-time and prioritizes humans over bots to ensure consumers get their desired products quickly and efficiently. This is a nice opportunity for passionate, highly motivated engineers to join the team and contribute to the mission.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilize creative thinking to find solutions to any problem
  • Must be able to use Machine Learning algorithms for various e-commerce platforms
  • Drive the software engineering process with continuous improvement
  • Finish tasks on time, write clean code, and implement best practices

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a backend developer
  • Must have expertise with Python, Python Frameworks, AWS, SAM, and CDK
  • Must be passionate about infrastructure as a code
  • Knowledge of unit tests is a must
  • Must be able to deliver business impacts
  • Knowledge of Shopify, Salesforce, and other e-commerce platforms will be an advantage
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Great communication and teamwork abilities
