Job description

A rapidly-growing company that enables businesses to offer compelling and meaningful virtual volunteering opportunities is looking for a Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for implementing reliable, low-latency, and highly performant applications. The company is enabling non-profits to create a sustainable impact and support the causes they believe in by generating money, expanding awareness, and recruiting long-term volunteers. This is a nice opportunity for developers who enjoy working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the team to write automation tests, understand requirements, build solutions, deliver functionality, and build continuous delivery pipelines
  • Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic and functionalities
  • Effectively collaborate with product teams and engineering professionals to meet product requirements and build innovative solutions

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a backend engineer
  • Must have expertise with NodeJS and NextJS
  • Ability to work well in a small team, with high accountability and reliability
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills 
  • Detail-oriented, strong communicator, and capable of multitasking
