Job description

A US-based company empowering the DevOps teams across businesses with top-tier open source solutions is looking for a Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be working closely with the CTO and the Lead Engineer to drive project-specific development and maintenance tasks. The VC-backed startup’s innovative solutions enable engineers to effortlessly deploy and operate production-ready open source applications from the ground up. The company has securely raised more than $4.8mn in funding. This role requires some overlap with the EST/CET/PST time zones.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist in planning, designing, and executing web architectures
Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products
Contribute to onboarding more open source applications to Plural
Develop scalable, responsive, and well-documented solutions
Adopt a holistic, test-oriented approach for troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading software

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of experience working as a software engineer
Experience in Terraform and Helm is a must
Proficiency in Elixir is nice to have
Excellent communication skills
