Job description

A US-based company empowering the DevOps teams across businesses with top-tier open source solutions is looking for a Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be working closely with the CTO and the Lead Engineer to drive project-specific development and maintenance tasks. The VC-backed startup’s innovative solutions enable engineers to effortlessly deploy and operate production-ready open source applications from the ground up. The company has securely raised more than $4.8mn in funding. This role requires some overlap with the EST/CET/PST time zones. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, designing, and executing web architectures
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products
  • Contribute to onboarding more open source applications to Plural
  • Develop scalable, responsive, and well-documented solutions
  • Adopt a holistic, test-oriented approach for troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading software

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of experience working as a software engineer
  • Experience in Terraform and Helm is a must
  • Proficiency in Elixir is nice to have
  • Excellent communication skills
