Job description

A leading health-tech company committed to promoting a healthy lifestyle through financial rewards is looking to hire a Back-End Engineer. The engineer will contribute to the collaborative and ownership-driven work to build well-considered and architected products. The company consists of engineers passionate about building quality software that rewards the health-conscious. The ideal candidate should be excited to solve problems and develop innovative software solutions using modern frameworks and security principles. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build modern B2C, B2B, and internal BPO software services using the latest frameworks and security protocols
  • Develop new and rework old solutions to improve scalability, fault tolerance, and security features
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and technical leadership for defining and adding functionality for improving business efficiency
  • Gain understanding about complex systems and utilize the latest technologies and patterns
  • Spearhead development processes and keep improving critical subsystems
  • Execute the full SDLC, including requirements analysis, architecture and design specification, service development, code review, testing, and delivery

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Must have experience of working with back-end languages like Typescript/Node, Ruby, Java, Python, etc
  • Deep understanding of web frameworks such as Express, Rails, Spring, and Django
  • Knowledge of API standards like GraphQL, REST, and OAuth
  • Ability to utilize data storage services like SQL, NoSQL, Redis, OLTP, Data Lake
  • Must be able to utilize Serverless, Containerization, or CICD for deployments
  • Must be a self-motivated developer capable of contributing to different areas whenever required
