Job description

A US-based company on a mission to bring game-changing technology in embedded payments for vertical software businesses is looking for a Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading the applications. The company is building an all-in-one platform to capitalize and accelerate direct-to-consumer e-commerce growth by helping businesses to identify opportunities within embedded payments for growth, innovation, and transformation. The company has managed to raise $70mn+ during their Series A round of funding. This will be a full-time, long-term role requiring 5+ hours overlap with the EST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

Work alongside cross-functional teams for building easy to understand solutions
Comprehend project requirements and implement solutions
Understand essentials and carry on an agreed schedule
Script reusable and efficient codes
Look into regular code reviews for improving and evolving applications

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a Backend engineer
Must possess expertise in utilizing languages like PHP
Knowledge of working with cloud solutions like AWS
Familiarity in integrating and working with payments systems is highly preferred
Proficiency with PostgreSQL and Rest APIs is desirable
Thorough knowledge of Typescript and Node development is vital
