Job description

A rapidly-growing company reimagining the financial systems for‍ startups and SMBs is looking for a Back-End Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for integrating, maintaining, and enhancing the company’s existing API with Plaid. The company is building an all-in-one banking solution that helps businesses manage and run their finances. This is an exciting opportunity for developers who wish to work in an agile environment and experience organic career growth.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Work on integrations with third-party APIs and other back-end services
  • Enhance the overall experience of the product by improving the quality of the back-end features 
  • Develop robust, scalable, and secure features
  • Rapidly scale features and improvements with minimal guidance

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Demonstrable experience working with Java, SpringBoot, and Camel
  • Nice to have some experience working with Plaid 
  • Prior experience with FinTech or Payment platforms is good to have
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment but also on an individual basis
