Job description

A fast-growing company that helps businesses to grow, increase their revenue and valuation while reducing dilution is looking for a Back-End Engineer. The selected candidate will work closely with the team’s product owner to understand requirements, build solutions, and deliver functionality. The company enables growth businesses to have full control of their businesses and grow it in their own special way. This role requires some overlap with the IST/PST time zone and will be a long-term, full-time role. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development
  • Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic and functionalities
  • Promote sound engineering practices, and mentor junior engineers
  • Work closely with customers and team members to communicate project statuses and proposals
  • Bring thought leadership and take initiative with a focus on continually improving service value

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • 3+ experience with Python (Django) is a must to have
  • Should know how to develop APIs and integrate APIs
  • Ability to ship high-quality code quickly and efficiently
  • Well experienced in developing and executing automated unit, functional, and integration tests
  • Passionate about technology and developing robust, scalable, state of the art software systems
  • Familiar with optimizing database structure and queries for growth
