Job description

An innovative fintech company building a payments network that allows billers to get paid from Payroll is looking for a Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of building the infrastructure that powers the company’s API and systems. The company is committed to building a better, more reliable payment method that equally works for consumers, billers, and lenders. This will be a full-time, long-term position that requires 4+ hours overlap with the CDT time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, build and maintain APIs, services, and systems across the company's engineering stack
  • Shape the technical foundation for future new products, sustained growth, and high availability standards
  • Deliver architecture and data environment that supports a test and learn approach to business problems
  • Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes
  • Think ahead and plan for both the short and long term

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • 3+ years of experience with Golang
  • Demonstrable experience working with Docker, IC4, and AWS
  • Nice to have some prior experience working with Terraform
  • Excellent team player with the ability to function as an individual contributor
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
