Back-End Engineer

A US-based e-commerce startup delivering remarkable experiences that accelerate brand’s growth is looking for a Python (Django) Back-End Engineer. The engineer will work actively to produce several new features and contribute efforts to increase the ability to deliver high-quality products consistently. Brands utilize the company's platform to distribute rapid and noteworthy post-purchase experiences that enable them to grow. The company has raised more than $21 mn in funding so far. This will be a long-term opportunity for the selected candidate to work with highly skilled engineers and grow their careers. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Help improve the code quality through effective testing, automation, and code reviews
• Work with other engineers on the team to enhance the technology and consistently utilize best practices
• Be top performer/strong engineer and improve existing tools with dynamic components that improve the usability
• Design and create services and system architecture for projects

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 4-5 years of relevant enterprise software experience 
• Experience working with global teams and people of different backgrounds
• Good command over Python/Django and Unit testing
• Ability to work independently and take ownership/decisions
• Knowledge and practice on Project Architecture
• Be a good team player, ready to help other team members
