Job description

A US-based company developing a next-generation technology that assists users in detangling knowledge buried in unstructured data and reviving their businesses is looking for a Back-End Engineer. The developer will be responsible for writing and building scalable applications. The company's innovative data pipeline aids clients in expediting and streamlining the commercial insurance submissions. They have managed to raise funding worth $30 mn+ during their Series C round. This will be a long-term, full-time role that needs at least 4-5+ hours overlap with the EST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with designers to define and implement new application features 
  • Document plan and features for other members of the team to use
  • Implement features from conception to release
  • Build new and improve existing infrastructure
  • Diagnose and fix application bottlenecks to improve performance 
  • Clearly define work plan and procedures

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Demonstrable experience working with Python
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
