Job description

A US-based developer of a scalable artificial intelligence for autonomous vehicles is looking for a Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be working with the internal team to develop and deliver projects. The company is spearheading a quantum leap for AI and autonomous technologies through their next-gen solutions. They have managed to raise funding worth more than $12.5 mn so far. This will be a long-term position that will present multiple growth opportunities for developers.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve company goals
  • Get feedback and improvements from team members, iterate, and test again
  • Build, develop, and deliver internal infrastructure, applications, and systems to support the development
  • Use a holistic, test-oriented approach to troubleshoot and upgrade the application

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience in systems engineering
  • Expert level of Python, working on/building distributed systems
  • Experience in parallel computation
  • Familiar in building APIs and frameworks
  • Proficiency in SQL (preferably PostgreSQL)
  • Knowledge of BigQuery and Cloud technologies (preferably GCP)
  • Basic experience and understanding of Kubernetes 
  • Experience working on/building distributed systems
  • Prior experience working on Data Science projects is nice to have
  • Nice to have some experience building PostgreSQL schema for Data Science manipulation
  • Experience working on projects/systems which scaled horizontally is desirable
