Job description

A US-based company using AI technology to power the product development and service delivery software is looking for a Back-End Engineer. The developer will work as part of the core product team and contribute extensively to building a scalable, robust platform. The company’s chemistry acceleration platform provides customers with predictive chemicals solutions. They have raised funding worth more than $8.5 mn so far. This will be a long-term, full-time position that requires an overlap with the CET time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and improve the overall quality of the product 
  • Identify issues that may be creating bottlenecks and apply the best solutions 
  • Work closely with designers, engineers, and managers to architect and the implement latest features and push updates 
  • Build scalable, readable, and well-documented stacks

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Demonstrable experience working with Java, Spring, Hibernate, and Git
  • Prior working experience of Python is nice to have
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
