Job description

An up-and-coming creator tools platform built by creators and for creators to capitalize on this powerful potential is looking for a Back-End Engineer. The developer will be tasked with understanding the users' needs and formulating products that serve those needs while keeping track of the technical details and requirements. The company aims to empower creators, innovators, and modern-day artists to inspire with their creations with the help of their revolutionary Web3 technology. This will be a long-term, full-time role that requires an overlap with the PST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement data security and protection practices 
  • Create a technical vision for how an idea turns into a shipped product 
  • Own the end-to-end delivery of products
  • Perform data analysis and implement solutions to improve processes

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end engineer
  • Prolific skills with Python, MySQL or PostgreSQL, and Redis 
  • Sound expertise in 3rd party API integration (Mailchimp/Mandrill, Stripe, etc.)
  • Nice to have prior experience working with ML technologies and frameworks
  • Understanding of scalability (caching, reliability, and monitoring)
  • Strong command over ElasticSearch is preferable
  • Some experience with DevOps - spin up instances, autoscaling, etc., is desirable
  • Should have a knack for problem-solving and bug fixing 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
