Job description
A US-based fitness platform featuring live elite trainers is looking for a Backend Engineer. As a developer, you will utilize your strong technical expertise in developing robust solutions to manage the data, APIs, live video systems, and other critical back-end features. The company has grown rapidly with over 300% in sales and raised close to $300 mn in funding. It is backed by Softbank, General Catalyst, Norwest Venture Partners, Founders Fund, etc. This job presents a great opportunity for the candidate to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment while collaborating with an all-star team including alumni from Google, YouTube, Netflix, Airbnb, Pixar, and Orangetheory.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop robust solutions to manage our data, APIs, and live video systems
- Manage the system architecture development
- Design and build other critical back-end features
- Optimize the platform for faster execution and solve scalability issues
- Effectively collaborate with product teams and engineering professionals
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of professional software development experience in back-end development roles
- Deep expertise in Python/Flask development
- Experience with AWS and programming with Linux
- Familiarity with DevOps and general Systems Architecture
- Familiarity with Git and Agile best practices
- Experience with continuous integration (Travis, Circle, Jenkins, etc.) and shipping clean, maintainable code
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for fitness and a strong desire to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment
- Experience with SQL or other relational databases

Back-End Developer
A U.S.-based company that is influencing the financial industry with their world-class cryptocurrency solutions is looking for a Back-End Developer. The developer will be in charge of building, constructing, growing, and managing production services, as well as knowing how to put together a service-oriented architecture. The company is creating a platform for cryptocurrency wallets and exchanges that will let users buy, sell, and store different types of cryptocurrencies. The company has managed to secure more than $675mn+ in funding. This position requires 6-8+ hours of overlap with the PST time zone.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development and execution of complex system software architecture, making sure it is scalable, performant, and maintainable
- Engage in active hands-on coding, using your technical know-how to mentor and advise development teams
- Work together with stakeholders to comprehend technical and business needs so that architectural designs and strategies can be created
- Define the elements, interfaces, and interactions of the system while utilizing the proper frameworks, technologies, and patterns
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
- 3+ years of experience working with Golang
