Job description

A fast-growing company that is leveraging the power of next-gen technology to build an innovative FinTech platform that enables seamless trading, is looking for a Back-End Developer. The developer will be in charge of writing simple code and shipping new products and features or improving existing ones. The company is on a mission to offer investors the best possible trading opportunities and a satisfying trading experience. Job Responsibilities:

  • Work independently without a lot of handholding
  • Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic and functionalities
  • Regularly communicate with the management and technical support teams, clearly document procedures and code
  • Optimize the platform for faster execution and solve scalability issues

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Prolific experience working with Core Java, along with real-time, low latency, and efficient memory allocation
  • Extensive experience working with Event Sourcing Architecture
  • Demonstrable experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Distributed System Architecture (Micro Services)
  • In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL and the AWS stack like EC2, S3
  • Extensive experience working with Java 8 
  • Prior experience working in an Agile environment & Continuous Delivery 
  • Strong knowledge of Jira for story and defect management 
  • Demonstrable experience with Git, Gradle, Jenkins, Cucumber, and Junit 
  • Prolific experience with mockito, Aeron, vertx.io, and swagger 
  • Familiarity with Risk (PnL, Margin calculations) 
  • In-depth experience with Order Execution flow (FIX Protocol - New Order Single, Execution Report) 
  • Nice to have some knowledge of Java 11+
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
