A revolutionary startup that is reinventing the Fintech industry is looking for a Back-end Developer (Rules Engine). The developer will be responsible for managing the complete delivery process by ideating, delivering and supporting the iteration of the product. The company is dedicated to building competent compliance infrastructure to help Fintech companies work more efficiently. The product building process will help developers to not only capitalize on their technical skills, but also to become a product-minded professional. Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with data engineers, risk specialists and product managers to evolve the back-end ecosystem
  • Contribute to the evolution of the company’s Risk Assessment Engine by architecting, designing, coding, testing and delivering
  • Manage, execute and take charge of the complete delivery process by ideating, delivering and supporting the iteration of the product
  • Play a critical part in realizing the long-term goals and objectives of the company
  • Collaborate with existing developers to improve the quality of the solutions, review other developers’ code and contribute actively to the developer community

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience working as a back-end developer
  • Extensive experience working with Java or Kotlin and Haskell or Clojure
  • Must be an analytical thinker, with an eye for simple yet powerful solutions
  • Proficient in English with great interpersonal skills
