Job description

A U.S.-based company helping freelancers develop their careers and connect them with businesses is looking for a Back-End Developer. The developer will be tasked with documenting the codebase while engaging in knowledge-sharing sessions with the rest of the team. The company offers an enabling platform for high-caliber and dependable freelance professionals to excel in the gig economy. The company has so far raised over $100k in funding.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the founders and designers to implement scalable features quickly 
  • Generate product ideas for the roadmap
  • Create a sustainable impact on the stack's direction
  • Analyze and improve the system’s efficiency, scalability, and stability

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of experience working with Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL
  • Knowledge of AWS CLI and DevOps
  • Ability to be reached in emergency situations
  • Good English speaking skills and proactive communication abilities
