Job description

A U.S.-based company helping freelancers develop their careers and connecting them with businesses is looking for a Back-End Developer. The developer will be tasked with documenting the codebase while engaging in knowledge-sharing sessions with the rest of the team. The company acts as a conduit between freelance contractors, project managers, audio-visual specialists, and event producers. The company has managed to secure more than $122K in funding so far.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the founders and designers to implement scalable features quickly 
  • Supply product ideas to the roadmap
  • Create a sustainable impact on the stack's direction
  • Analyze and improve the system’s efficiency, scalability, and stability

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Extensive experience in Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL
  • Prolific experience in API design 
  • Nice to have experience in Python and Angular
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
