Job description

A US-based company that is offering a variety of goods and services to enhance warehouse services is looking for a Back-End Developer. The developer will be helping to shape and guide the direction of the company’s technology ecosystem. The company provides businesses with cutting-edge solutions for their most complex logistics challenges. Job Responsibilities:

  • Define product requirements, implement, and test systems
  • Support launch efforts, and improve the company’s systems
  • Participate actively in team discussions and design discussions 
  • Interact regularly with leadership roles, consultants, and clients 
  • Integrate solutions across multiple application layers
  • Deploy applications and modifications to production systems
  • Improve the quality of the company’s codebase 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in .NET or Java application development
  • At least 2+ years of development experience with MS SQL Server
  • Exceptional talent for picking up new technologies and maintaining existing ones
  • Solid understanding of warehouse management and the various tiers of warehousing is preferred 
  • Prior experience managing source code with Git and Github
  • Nice to have experience with Delphi or Pascal
  • Demonstrable experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Powershell is nice to have 
  • Experience building and consuming REST APIs is desirable
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
