Job description

The developer will be in charge of producing clean, performant, forward-thinking, responsive, and scalable back-end features and solutions. Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineers to write production-quality code and deploy software solutions on both client and server-side projects
  • Work with the team to architect back-end solutions and suggest cloud frameworks to accomplish product objectives
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of company’s solutions
  • Enhance testing platforms, improve test automation and foster software craftsmanship
  • Enhance the user experience by partnering with software engineers

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of experience in back-end software development, primarily with Java/C#, JavaScript, and/or Node.js 
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience with a variety of database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL
  • Must have at least 3+ years of experience with deploying cloud-based software solutions with either AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • A minimum of 1+ year of experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) and eXtreme Programming (XP) practices
  • Nice to have experience with Event-Driven Architecture
  • Experience with messaging services such as Queueing and Pub/Sub is a plus 
  • Experience working on client projects is nice to have 
  • Demonstrable experience working with other technical specialists, Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, and business partners
  • Nice to have experience using CI/CD tools and pipelines such as Harness, Jenkins, etc.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities
  • Ability to work autonomously and work with minimal supervision 
  • Solid understanding of fundamental data modeling is preferred
  • Experience in the development of microservices is nice to have 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
