Job description

A NASDAQ-listed company building a platform that allows merchants, customers, and dealers to conduct digital currency transactions is looking for a Back-End Developer. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating a long-term vision for scaling the back-end systems and the team that handles it. The company is determined to create a world-class open financial system by leveraging modern technology's power. The company has managed to successfully raise $550mn+ in funding. This position requires a significant overlap with the PST time zone. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Create new services to meet critical product and business requirements
  • Using modern cloud technology and industry best practices, create highly available and scalable systems to solve novel problems
  • Create a long-term vision for maintaining and scaling the back-end systems and the teams that manage them
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and the senior leadership to turn the product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap
  • Write high-quality, well-tested code to meet customers' needs
  • Design, build, and engineer dependability into critical CI/CD systems and tools

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer working with Golang
  • Nice to have some experience in Ruby on Rails
  • Familiarity with composing a service-oriented architecture
  • Passionate about building an open financial system that brings the world together
  • Fluency in Linux systems and performance tuning is a plus
  • Knowledge of performance marketing tools (Ad, APIs, SEO, Internationalization, etc.) is nice to have
  • Any payment and credit risk experience is nice to have
