A US-based company developing cutting-edge technologies and services for businesses in the broadcast, entertainment, media monitoring, financial, and education industries is looking for a Back-End Developer. The selected candidate will be working closely with team members to ensure smooth delivery and development of product architecture and features. The emerging company is bringing the power of AI and ML competencies to production and compliance workflows. Job Responsibilities:

  • Create, manage, and scale the company's ad APIs, SEO, internationalization, and so on
  • Work according to priorities and with constantly changing tasks
  • Create efficient, user-friendly back-end applications
  • Write high-quality code that is well-designed, testable, and efficient
  • Work independently, own features, and report to the team
  • Developing concepts to ensure the back-end efficiency

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of experience working as a back-end developer
  • 3+ years of experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases, such as MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Elastic search
  • 2+ years of experience with AWS services is required (API Gateway, S3, LAMBDA, Cognito, DynamoDB, Cloud watch, Glue, Athena Etc..)
  • 1+ years of experience building custom Docker containers is required
  • 2+ years of experience working with a serverless framework
  • It's beneficial to have hands-on experience with Scrapy
  • Proficiency in building and deploying custom Scrapy spiders 
  • Prefered Web scraping knowledge and experience
  • Experience with PHP, Node.js, and Lua Scripts is a plus
  • It is advantageous to have prior experience working with Splash
  • Knowledge of JavaScript is required
  • Excellent knowledge of HTML CSS, XPath CSS paths
  • It is advantageous to have prior experience writing unit test cases
  • NLP experience is nice to have
