Job description

A US-based company that is powered by airport operations automation to make airports safer by leveraging the power of computer vision, and real-time analytics, is looking for a Back-End Developer. The selected candidate will be making primary contributions in hosted micro-services, edge computing, machine learning, and distributed communications. AI and reliable data capturing technology fuel the company, which helps to automate aerial inspections. This will be a full-time position requiring some overlap with the PST time zone.

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Configure front-end components with server-side features and services 
  • Work alongside product and engineering teams, including front-end engineers
  • Fine-tune platform for optimized execution and solve scalability issues
  • Configure cyber security and data protection practices 
  • Build concepts, design and develop APIs, data storage solutions, and other engineering components

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Must possess professional experience of working with hosting platforms like AWS, GCP, and Azure
  • Should be able to work with back-end languages like Python and JavaScript
  • Ability to utilize languages like C, C++, and Go is also required
  • Well-versed with the fundamentals in distributed systems design and development
