A rapidly-growing platform for referral programs that helps businesses identify, evaluate, and convert candidates is looking for a Back-End Developer. The selected candidate will be tasked with tackling some of the toughest challenges in staffing. The platform enables businesses to reduce sourcing costs, increase recruiter productivity, and improve the candidate experience. Job Responsibilities:

  • Define and build new features that will deliver value to the customers daily
  • Create the underlying framework to help scale the business to greater heights
  • Take ownership and bring the ability and inclination to be hands-on in all aspects of the role
  • Have the capacity to recognize and comply with the client's business wants and needs
  • Mentor junior developers and teach them best practices for writing clean code and dependable software
  • Create and manage stable third-party integrations
  • Juggle priorities effectively and thrive under pressure
  • Exercise exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Practice meticulous attention to detail

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • 5+ years experience developing production Rails APIs professionally
  • 3+ years experience writing SQL and tuning for database performance
  • Extensive experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational database
  • Knowledge of ActiveJob, Sidekiq, or similar background job system
  • Prolific experience with Heroku and AWS
  • Experience working with Bullhorn, Avionte, or general applicant tracking 
  • Staffing industry experience is desirable
  • Proficient in writing excellent documentation to guide partners, development, and support teams
