Job description

An emerging platform that provides relevant product reviews to users through captivating videos is looking for a Back-End Developer. The selected candidate will be helping the existing team to shape the culture and build the dream workplace. The company has developed a safe platform to make authentic reviews, try product samples, and give purchasing advice to the audience. This will be a full-time position that will provide developers with exciting avenues for career development. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the design, product, and back-end engineering teams to transform vision, specs, and mocks into reality
  • Build the next generation video review platform from scratch
  • Manage the full lifecycle of the product from design to documentation
  • Design and implement best practices for maintainability

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Prolific experience working with Python, Go/Golang, Node.js, Google Cloud Platform, and PostgreSQL
  • Nice to have some knowledge of Kafka, HDFS, Redis, and MySQL
  • An analytical thinker with an eye for simple yet powerful solutions
  • Experience in microservice architecture, performance, and security
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
