Job description

An emerging startup that is led by successful entrepreneurs with exits to Walmart, Amazon, and Yahoo is looking for a Back-End Developer. The developer will take on new challenges and solve complex software problems. The company specializes in developing a consumer-facing sports betting platform and has raised more than $70mn in funding so far. Candidates who want to pursue an engaging career and work on full-time projects are suitable for this position.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Solve technical problems and provide innovative solutions across the stack
  • Build and translate technical requirements into functional code
  • Deliver software systems with SDLC best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Core expertise in Java, Python, PostgreSQL, and AWS
  • Strong educational background
  • Demonstrated track record of building and delivering high-quality software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
