Job description

A leading end-to-end cloud delivery platform that streamlines development, testing, continuous integration, and delivery/deployment workflows, is looking for a Back-end Developer. The main responsibility of the selected candidate will be to work on the back-end services of the platform and help guide its design and architecture. The company is currently building and scaling its new platform for teams to complement its open-source core product. The company has managed to raise funding worth €4mn+ during their seed round. This is an exciting opportunity for developers to work on some next-gen technology and build innovative products.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with the entire team in planning, designing, and building out the various components of the platform
  • Apply prior experience with distributed systems and cloud-native technology to solve any emerging problems 
  • Guide the design and implementation process of features that will be used by other cloud-native engineers
  • Empathize with fellow cloud-native developers, and understand the value in bringing them a good, frictionless developer experience
  • Use containers, Kubernetes, and other cloud-native technology as part of the day-to-day work

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Demonstrable experience working with Node and Kubernetes
  • Extensive experience with distributed systems or micro-services, and the cloud-native technologies used to build and run them
  • Familiarity with TypeScript and related technologies is nice to have
  • Experience working with ambiguous requirements in an agile environment
  • Comfortable working in a team environment without being micromanaged
