Job description

A US-based, seed-stage fintech company that provides investors within the US the ability to place their 401k savings plan into a personalized portfolio is looking for a Back-End Developer. The developer will join the fast-growing team and work directly with the CTO and CEO. The company enables the direct buying and selling of stocks and allows clients to own crypto in a completely risk-managed and personalized tax-free approach. This will be an exciting opportunity for developers to polish their skills while building innovative solutions and rise quickly through the ranks of a startup. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Become familiar with the codebase and the upcoming OKRs
  • Write clean, reliable, and highly maintainable code 
  • Work closely with the CTO to scale the back-end 
  • Take charge of implementing efficient features
  • Identify and troubleshoot end-to-end problems 
  • Suggest new improvements to help the team make innovative choices 
  • Support the development of new features 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a back-end developer
  • Deep expertise with Python
  • Familiarity with Django REST Framework
  • Working experience with DevOps
  • Passion for Fintech is a great bonus
  • Fluency in English communication
